CheckPoint G4 is the most advanced and versatile wireless temperature monitoring system available, and has been designed with the latest radio chips on the market. It is specifically designed to meet strict regulatory compliance for hospitals, life science and other applications.
The CheckPoint system is highly scalable, from a small, single facility to a complex, multi-location medical center like Kaiser Permanente, Jacobi Medical Cener, Methodist Health System and many others. CheckPoint is deployed throughout the entire medical facility, including remote satellite buildings, for the pharmacy, laboratory, blood bank, nutrition and other departments. It can function as a standalone system monitoring just a few sensors in a limited area, while affording you the option to expand at any time into a fully networked environment simultaneously monitoring hundreds of refrigerators and other appliances.
CheckPoint takes advantage of the latest developments in wireless technology, offering 900 MHz ISM RF range most suitable for this type of monitoring application, or communicate over the facility’s WiFi or DAS. All hardware complies with FCC part 15 for non-interference, meaning that it will not interfere with other wireless devices used for medical applications.
Various sensor types and probes are available and can monitor temperatures down to -200º Celsius, as well as other measurement values such as humidity, carbon dioxide, oxygen, differential air pressure, particle count, motion, etc.
All G4 sensors have a 30-day memory capacity and 2-way communication to ensure that no data is ever lost in case of a systemic failure, such as a server or network problem. As soon as the system is restored, the stored data will immediately upload to the server automatically.
It’s ability to act as a data logger allows its use for cold chain management, such as for tracking the temperature of coolers for the transportation of blood products.
An unlimited number of sensors can be installed and data is recorded 24/7. The system can automatically and immediately email or text message alerts to any number of necessary personnel in the case of a temperature failure, and fully document and guide the user through the corrective action process necessary to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
Alert lamp:
An IP based audio/visual alert lamp that will locally notify the users
as soon an alert occurs. Depending on the time of day and day of the week, different alert lamps can be automatically activated or de-activated. For example, the alert lamp in the lab can be activated during normal hours and the lamp in engineering can be activated after hours.
CheckPoint will fully and continuously document status and events, including storage time, temperature and corrective actions taken to meet compliance and auditing requirements. This ensures the highest level of quality and patient care at your medical facility or laboratory.
